Maybe I can make a stripped down version from this?
Just JWM with the 2 panels and standard icons and applications from Delicate.
I guess that wouldn't be that hard to make and is more flexible..

yup .... and the package can be updated later if we'd like to add more icons ... :] Please, create a working .xinitrc template and place it under /usr/share/jwm-nl2stk or kind of like that .... users would be able to activate the configuration by one single copy command .... cp /usr/share/jwm-nl2stk/.xinitrc ~/ ..... maybe this could be done in some script included in the package .... this script should warn user, that the file is going to be replaced .... etc. etc.

Well I have to try pypanel and ofcourse openbox and this is the result.

Openbox, pypanel, esetroot, conky, a different gtk scheme and icons.
The wallpaper is from Porteus.
