TODO tracker
The following things are still waiting for our attention:
(the list might be missing a lot of stuff, I'll try to fill it subsequently!)

Upload missing PKGBUILDs with relevant source data for all available binary packages ...

separate devel packages!

pcmcia X net race ... cardmgr delay leads to dhcpcd failure due to a missing eth device ... add configurable or fixed sleep

localepurge feature as a configurable part of the pacman

introduce fluid in form of fltk subpackage (needed by fldev)

exploring the idebus=50 parameter for setting the ide bus speed

rox-filler as desktop wallpaper -> delisetup/WM -> .xinitrc

Menu generator support for JWM, ...
-WM specific localized submenus would be nice (/usr/share/menu-generator/wm-specific-menus/<WM>.<locale>)

menu generator reqests cleaning on startup

menu generator request in delitools

Default file type associations in rox, mc, ...

Keyboard switcher
-this might be tough with our current version of Xorg (release 7.3 / version 1.4)
since release 7.4 / version 1.5.1 is the latest supporting ISA cards, but still without multiple variants support .... that would need an external switching tool and some patching ..... we could also introduce 2 concurrent versions of xorg package sets ... newer xorg might work much better on computers with PCI cards .... the older xorg still can stay in the repo for older hardware ....

Kernel source / Kernel devel

usb bootable kernel or initrd???

delitools
-localization
-service boot order
-SW management
-wireless configuration

blinky - package manager

Lightweight server daemons (lighthttpd/apache?, maradns/bind, dhcpserver ?)

more bloated web browsers Big Grin

USB storage automounter / volume manager

ntfs-3g ...

Fix pacman groups in the PKGBUILDs ... needs a new mass rebuild (we need to create a new group for games .... surprisingly called "games")
Groups selection in the installer ....

directvnc - framebuffer vnc client

cdm - login manager

official wallpapers ...

CD burning sw .... need to decide if we wanna build the tools on top of cdrtools or cdrkit

optional repository for heavier stuff.

office - abiword/gnumeric update ...... openoffice?

installation over parallel cable ??? floppy install ??? USB install ???
netinstall resurrection ...

default WM (/etc/skel ? or during install?)

check lame's nasm dependency ... probably just build dependency

detect other OSes presence in the installer ...

prboom / freedoom ?

flash plugin

Meal-Master GTK viewer

sss source

b43 driver

hints in the installer ALT+F4 , ALT+F1 ....

NetNews reader - tin, ...

pager issue ... in the problem reports

corsix-th ...

/etc/pcmcia/conf modification ... http://delicate-linux.net/forum/showthre...26#pid1626

WindowMaker support in menu-generator

JWM

fluxbox/NLS issue ...

description in the service scripts

I don't know if it is an idea, but there seems to be version of JWM which are a bit hacked.
They are using a few configuration files instead of one, perhaps it makes it easier for the menu-generator? I've read about it in the Antix forum (and they seems to have the idea from Puppy-linux). I don't know if you already knew it, but better twice told that not at all :]

I believe it's not problem at all .... the most stupid way is to concatenate a jwmrc template with the generated data. But I could check also the hacked version .... thanks for the tip.

I couldn't find it, but I'm sure there must be a few (for Antix and Puppy), I believe it's rather handy for making localised versions like the menus in IceWM.
