Conky or Torsmo?
One of those would be nice, I've tried to compile them but I didn't succeed. I like to see what's happening on the background and who's eating my resources ;]
I know it can be done with HTOP etc, but I feel that's bit like carrying a matchbox with a truck. Gkrellm works (more or less), but it stops reacting after a few seconds. RE: Conky or Torsmo?
Ok ... I could try one of these. I prefer conky since I was using it in the past.

RE: Conky or Torsmo?
The build is done, but something's wrong. The refresh interval is too short for some reason ... don't know if that's caused by the default config ... please, test that and let me know.
It can be finetuned / patched if the behavior isn't correct. |

RE: Conky or Torsmo?

That was fast, the flickering issue is solved by putting the next line in the config: double_buffer yes Now I have to take a look at the 'speedy' things, oh and the CPU usage is 312% well it's about time that that lazy bastard was doing something ![]() Hardware in use: Compaq PIII- 1GHZ, Geforce 4000, 256mb, 80gb HD Dutch Delicate Linux information: http://www.delicatelinux.nl.ae |

RE: Conky or Torsmo?
I finally found what's wrong .... it seems to be a clock function incompatibility ... CLOCK_MONOTONIC returns invalid values .... I switched to CLOCK_REALTIME and it seems to work better now. Please, wait for rebuild.
