Wireless driver with WPA support for RT2860PCI/mPCI/CB/PCIe(RT2760/RT2790/RT2860/RT2890) based wireless cards:
- Sweex Wireless 300N
- ...

1.) Load the module:

modprobe rt2860sta

NOTE: Add /sbin/modprobe rt61 in the /etc/rc.modules file for automatic start during the boot. This module needs to be started after the PCMCIA modules.

2.) Setup the encryption type, SSID and passphrases -> edit the following file (don't change the structure!):

WPA2 example:

3.) setup your IP address / gateway / DNS servers:

a.) using delisetup

This doesn't work yet ...
Skip the probe part and edit /etc/rc.d/net accordingly:

/sbin/dhcpcd -> /sbin/dhcpcd ra0
/sbin/ifconfig eth0 ... -> /sbin/ifconfig ra0 ...

b.) using dhcpcd

killall dhcpcd
dhcpcd ra0

c.) manually
ifconfig ra0 up
ifconfig ra0 A.B.C.D
route add default gw E.F.G.H
echo "nameserver I.J.K.L" > /etc/resolv.conf
echo "search mydomain.local" >> /etc/resolv.conf

Interface ra0 can be renamed to eth0 with the nameif tool.

ifconfig ra0 up
fconfig ra0 down
nameif eth0 AB:CD:EF:GH:IJ

where AB:CD:EF:GH:IJ is the card MAC address ...

I patched the sources in order to change the default device name from ra* to eth*.
There's no need for /etc/rc.d/net changes anymore.
